computer is running o.k. but like most of my game swon’t start of they shut down right in the middle of playing. and i also keep getting an error about the jarva file being corrupt or damaged. is there anywhere i can go to get help? im afraid my computer is going to crash. not to mention i am running Windows ME. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
It is going to become completely inaccessible if you don’t do something immediately.
Sounds like you have been infected by a virus or malware for sure.
Most likely the malware will prevent you from running a virus scan from you operating system as most of them do.
Even if you get a virus scanner to run you will probably not be able to repair the damage so back up as much valuable information and files as you can while your machine is still up and running because you are probably going to have to format and re-install your operating system.
That is exactly why I use Linux for my personal computer, Windows is just too unreliable and way too high maintenance for me.

1st off, you need to switch to Win XP with service Pack 2. Microsoft no longer caters to ME. Aside from that, you probally need to do a reinstall of your system or a recovery of your system. Do you have recovery disks? My suggestion is to write down all the errors you have and post back what they are. Also, do you have all the last “updates” for ME?

Have you got a Virus protection program running, if not install “AVG free home version” and do a full scan and see if this can fix the problems, also a windows repair afterwards may help. Hope this helps.
